Eurostar timetable and fares guide
Eurostar doesn't cover the Dover
to Calais route but comes close. You can board the train in either london
or ashford and you will be in calais in a flash.
From the timetable below you will see you can easily do a London calais
day trip as crossing time takes less than 90 minutes and around 30 minutes
only from ashford.
For a cheap london calais eurostar ticket just check the fare guide
also below. Eurostar is only for foot passenger . If you want to go from ashford
to calais through the eurotunnel you will have to use the shuttle which
departs from foxton.
There are two ways of crossing the channel tunnel. One is by Eurostar trains and the other one is Le shuttle

3 different classes of service are available on Eurostar trains
Standard class. The cheapest way to travel
Prices start from £69 return for a non exchangeable, non refundable ticket and go up to £249 return depending on availability.
If you want to have the option to change your ticket or refund it before or after departure prices start at £250 and go up to £309 (you will be charged an additional fee for exchanges and refunds)
A bar buffet is available on board where you can find a selection of hot and cold snacks as well as alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks
Standard Premier. If you want a bit more luxury.
Prices start from £189 return for a non echangeable, non refundable ticket and go up to £340 return depending on availability.
If you want to have the option to change your ticket or refund it before or after departure prices start at £288 and go up to £355 (you will be charged an additional fee for exchanges and refunds)

Business Premier Ideal if you have to work
Only one price is available in this class of service to go to Calais.
A return ticket will set you back £450 pounds however all tickets are exchangeable and refundable before and after departure at no additional fee.

Eurostar check in
Checking in is easy. Once you have made your booking you can either print your tickets (if you have booked online) or collect them at the station either by using the Self Service ticketing machine or from the main desk. Check in time can vary Depending on the class of service you are travelling in:
For standard class: Check in at least 30 minutes before departure
For Standard premier: Also check in at least 30 minutes before departure
For business premier: You can check in up to 10 minutes before departure
